Gilligan's Island is located at the South West part of the island. It's reached by a small ferry boat that leaves a port nearby from the big island (Puerto Rico). Only few tourists and visitors have enjoyed of this magical and government protected place. Few tourists and travelers get to enjoy this relaxing haven, it’s still one of the unbeaten paths of Puerto Rico. The few lucky ones that do, get to enjoy this island with very few crowds during winter high travel season. It only gets busy with locals during holiday weekends and summers. Surrounded by a healthy mangrove system, Gilligan’s Island is a snorkelers heaven with crystal clear waters with schools of tropical fish, and a few places with live healthy coral. the whole islands bottom is shallow with pure white sand and low currents streaming in the middle passages. which makes the coral life, biodiversity healthy and possible.
